Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Growing up and being raised in California, USA, she first began modeling in Italy. In 1996 when she first made her appearance, she appeared as an actor in an TV movie titled "Her Costly Affair.' After a tough transition and a very small role in the movie "Starship Troopers..' Amy was unable to make the transition from modeling to acting since models are not usually considered good actors. They would often be given small and unimportant parts. However, Amy was determined to keep going and began to take on bigger roles eventually, starting in the show 'The 1970's as well as the movie "Varsity Blues". In 2005, she took part in the leading role of the romantic comedy 'Just friends'. Ryan Reynolds also appeared. Amy became famous for her efforts over the past 10 years.
